We’re Sonia and Cosmin, a part-time travel couple passionate about wines, hikes, stories, and more. Eager to discover and share our wine tourism experiences from Romania and beyond.

It all started when we set out one year to do a wine tasting on the Prahova Valley, but none of our friends wanted to be the designated driver, and the local wineries didn’t offer accommodation. That sparked the research, exploration, and testing, with more or fewer adventures along the way. In the meantime, we’ve gained some experience and education in wine and now want to share ideas, tips & tricks about the world’s wine map, the best tastings, and the most unique stories… not for nothing does the saying go: “In vino veritas”, the phrase that inspired our blog name, Vino Vidi Vici.
