Located in Gura Vadului, the winery operates within an elegantly restored historic manor, once the residence of Prince Nicholas of Romania. Today, it still preserves the refined atmosphere of the 1930s, harmoniously blended with contemporary elements.
The accommodation is Adults-Only, offering spacious rooms in either the “Conacul (manor) Apogeum ” or the “Conacul Mic” (small manor). All rooms are tastefully decorated and offer serene views of the vineyards that surround the entire property.

- The experience captivates you from the very beginning through the authenticity of the place and the discreet elegance of the historic manor, restored to preserve its 1930s charm while offering all the modern comforts.
- One aspect that particularly delighted us is that the estate organizes events during key moments of the vineyard work. We were lucky enough to attend the “Cu Mâinile Murdare” (with dirty hands) event, organized by the “Comunitatea Evadaților Urbani” (urban escapees community”—an inspired combination of music and grape harvesting right in the Tohani vineyard, an authentic and charming experience.
- Prices are aligned with the general level of the area and do not stand out as being higher than those of other wineries offering accommodation in Dealu Mare.

A standout presence in the region is Crama de Piatră (The Stone Winery), a place steeped in history, built at the beginning of the 20th century between 1909 and 1912. The restaurant and outdoor terrace are tastefully designed, providing the perfect setting to enjoy the tranquility of nature. The wine tastings are of exceptional quality, and the culinary dishes are masterfully prepared, perfectly completing the sensory experience among the vineyards.
